      Issue Summary

      When a customer cancels a subscription for a Cloud product (Confluence or Jira), the related site and its content is not immediately deleted.

      It will be active for the remainder of the product billing period and then deleted 15 days after the end of the billing period. It will then take another 60 days for the site and related data to be permanently deleted from Atlassian cloud infrastructure.

      This creates a problem for admins.

      • admins will not have any visibility into when the data will be permanently deleted
      • Until all data is deleted the associated org can't be removed

      Suggestion

      Please consider implementing one of the following;

      • Provide exact timelines for data deletion when the product is being cancelled.
      • Send an email to admins indicating when the data will be deleted
      • Show a banner in admin hub to indicate when the site and related data will be deleted.

      Workaround

      Customers can contact Cloud Support and get more details on when the products will be deleted.
