ticket descriptions inlined when mentioned

Ticket descriptions have suddenly started rendering with icons and descriptions instead of just hyperlinking the ticket ID. This suddenly started happening tonight.

We use JIRA ticket IDs extensively to identify our requirements, specifications, etc. In some cases the ticket IDs are used to name files, which are then mentioned in test procedures. This rendering change causes the text to read incorrectly. This is affecting across all our whole system and we have a fair number of tickets.

This is a highly user-visible and incompatible change from previous behavior. In addition I couldn't find a knob to toggle it off.
