    Description

      Problem Definition

Currently in Atlassian Cloud, there are two administrative groups that grant administrative access to all applications:
      site-admins
      admiinistrators

In some cases, users would like some of their users to be able to ONLY administer/have access to ONE application in their Cloud suite.

Example: User needs to create projects and administer in JIRA, but does not need Confluence access. Said user must be in administrators group to do this. But that group grants administrative access to Confluence as well.

      Suggested Solution

Create administrator groups for Confluence and JIRA, and limit the administrators group to just the application necessary.

      Workaround

Create separate Cloud account with the application you'd like to deny access for the site-admins and administrators groups in your original instance. However, this is not a great workaround.
