crowd synchronization quartz job never gets triggered in jira-studio

      JST trunk 17 May 2011, 2.36pm

      1. Bring up Studio
      2. Go to crowd, add a user into jira application
      3. Go to Jira's user directories
      4. Click sync
      5. The newly added user never comes through to Jira's user browser.

      I've tried to debug this. Seems like the sync button in UI successfully calls Quartz to schedule the sync job but the job never gets executed.
      As a result of this, any changes made on crowd do not come through to Jira.
