The steps mentioned in AOD-2662 are very time-consuming for the support team since JIRA has to be bounced twice. The attachment and index paths provided in the data import seem to be ignored. The assumption is that JIRA does that because the specified directories do not exist, and because it falls back to the defaults it deactivates the attachments. It should be tested if JIRA behaves that way when provided with existing directories, and if the attachments get disabled. Also the source code responsible for this behavior should be identified and the spec for AOD-2662 should be modified so that either we find a way to influence that behavior in Studio or we modify the import to contain the correct paths before an import (similar to findOldJiraUrls()/doUpdateJiraUrls(String)).
