Confluence drop-down menus trigger Javascript errors in IE7 and IE8

      Confluence's drop-down menus ("Add" and "Tools") are half broken in IE 7/8, and throw Javascript errors. Just moving the cursor over the menu (so the drop-down appears) triggers a JS error box saying
