Issue Summary

When users click the notification bell icon in the top-right of the Confluence/Jira navigation bar, the notification feed does not display the full expected history. Notifications are cut off after only a few days, even though the feed should retain up to 30 days of notifications.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Visit Confluence or Jira.
2. Click on the bell icon in the top-right of the navigation bar.
3. Ensure no filters applied and are viewing either the 'direct' or 'watching' notification category.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the notification feed and note the date of the oldest notification item.

Expected Results

The notification feed should display up to 30 days of notification history. Users should be able to scroll or paginate through the full list of notifications within that retention window.

Actual Results

The notification feed only displays a few days of notifications. Older notifications within the expected 30-day retention window are missing and cannot be accessed by scrolling or paginating.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
