Currently, when copying data from Production to Sandbox, the option to copy the data is present beside individual Products.

And as per the following support document: https://support.atlassian.com/organization-administration/docs/what-happens-when-you-copy-data/

When any of the Jira, JSM or JPD product data is copied, then the entire Jira family data is copied to Sandbox.

But when a user tries to copy the Production data to Sandbox by clicking the options beside the individual product the assumption is that the data only for that Product is copied, and even though there is a banner that displayed informing about all Jira Family data being copied, this can be easily missed resulting in an unexpected copy of data from all Jira products to Sandbox loosing any configurations on the Sandbox.
