Use case 

In some case customer experienced a bad SCIM sync in their IdP deployment, which triggered the immediate reconfiguration ( removal of group ) of all their Permission Schemes, , Plans , Filters and Dashboards in Jira. They need to reconfigure their Jira spaces to match the original configuration ( groups ), but this information isn't stored in a Jira database table (it's immediately overwritten).

BRIE backup  unable to download the raw content of their backup's data (for example, pulling the entities.xml file from the classic site backup.

Suggestion :

Ability to restore previous groups mapping with projects permissions , Plans , Filters and Dashboards from  BRIE backup  and provide option to download previous configuration files which contains such details for restoration. 

Workaround :

Jira Audit log only contains group removal details for Permission Schemes
