Summary
The Blog Posts - Atlassian Cloud provides weekly updates on rollouts. However, these posts are often published after the rollout or lack direct links to the "official" pre-announcement or technical execution documents. This creates several issues for users:
- Verification Difficulty: Users cannot easily verify if a blog post is the definitive "official" plan for a change.
- Information Gap: There is no direct bridge between a high-level blog summary and the formal documentation that guarantees the execution of the change.
- Search Fatigue: Users must manually search the Atlassian Community or documentation sites to find the "formal" version of the news.
Suggested Solution
Standardize the format of the Cloud Changes blog to include a mandatory "Official Reference" section for each item.
- Direct Linking: Every update item in the blog must include a direct link to a formal announcement (e.g., a verified documentation page or a formal Atlassian community "Announcement" category post).
- Status Confirmation: Clearly state if the linked document is the "Final Execution Plan" to provide certainty to administrators.
- Consistency: Ensure the terminology used in the blog matches the official document to allow for easy cross-referencing.
