      Current behavior
The Java images used for Atlassian Jira Cloud are based on Amazon Corretto.
These currently include the haricarootca2015 certificate by default, but the newer HARICA 2021 root CA certificates are not yet present in the default trust store.

      Problem / Impact

      • Organizations that rely on HARICA 2021 CAs for TLS/SSL certificates may experience trust issues when integrating with Jira Cloud or related services, requiring manual workarounds or alternative certificate authorities.
      • This limits customers who have already migrated to, or are required to use, HARICA 2021 certificates for security or compliance reasons.
      • As more endpoints move to HARICA 2021, this gap may cause increasing connectivity, validation, or trust errors.

      Requested change
Add support for HARICA 2021 root CA certificates, alongside the existing haricarootca2015 certificate.

      Desired outcome

      • Jira Cloud should successfully validate certificates issued under both HARICA 2015 and HARICA 2021 roots.
      • Customers using HARICA 2021 certificates should be able to maintain secure, trusted connections without additional workarounds.
