Currently, Atlassian’s freeze window feature only allows up to 10 apps/sites per freeze window and does not allow overlapping freeze windows for the same period. This makes it impossible for large organizations (with 30+ productive sites) to apply a single, consistent freeze across all their environments during critical periods (such as holidays or major releases). As a result, admins cannot reliably protect all production sites at once.

Requested:

• Increase or remove the 10-app limit per freeze window, or

• Allow overlapping freeze windows for the same time period,
  so that organizations can apply a freeze to all their apps/sites at once.

This change would enable enterprise customers to enforce org-wide freezes and improve operational control during sensitive periods.
