Problem Definition
Currently, the Data Residency screens in Atlassian Guard display User and Admin installed apps, but do not include System Installed apps such as 'Atlassian Assist'. As a result, customers cannot view or manage the data residency status of these System Installed apps. This lack of visibility is especially problematic for organizations, that are moving or pinning all apps and products to a specific region (in this case, the UK).
Why this is important
- Customers require transparency and control over the residency of all their data, including that managed by System Installed apps.
Suggested Solution
- Display the Data Residency screens in Atlassian Guard to include System Installed apps, such as 'Atlassian Assist', alongside User and Admin installed apps.
Workarounds
- Currently, customers must manually request data residency information for System Installed apps via support tickets.
