Issue Summary
The "search all apps" option at the top-search bar of Atlassian products seems to sort the results per product by default, and there are no other sort options that can be selected.
This behavior will cause results that doesn't match the exact syntax added to the search bar to appear before other results that match the exact syntax, in case they are grouped in the same product.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create an issue in Jira (e.g: XYZ-123)
- Create other issues in your Jira (XYZ-124, XYZ-125)
- Create a Confluence page linked to the issue XYZ-123, mentioning the relevant issue
Expected Results
- When searching for "XYZ-123" in the "Search all apps", the Jira issue XYZ-123 and the linked Confluence page should be displayed first
Actual Results
- When searching for "XYZ-123" in the "Search all apps", the Jira issue XYZ-123, XYZ-124, and XYZ-125 will be displayed before the created Confluence page
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
