Problem definition
The current design lacks an option to automate Jira and Confluence backups using the backup manager.
Suggested solution
Add an option to automate Jira and Confluence backups via the backup manager.
Workaround
- Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
- The alternative mechanism is the new Backup and Restore Experience, currently in Open Beta for Enterprise customers. The GA release is expected in Q1 2026. This will be available as a paid add-on to Premium and Enterprise customers (subject to change) and will allow for automatic backups.
