The current design lacks an option to automate Jira and Confluence backups using the backup manager.

Add an option to automate Jira and Confluence backups via the backup manager.

Workaround

• Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
• The alternative mechanism is the new Backup and Restore Experience, currently in Open Beta for Enterprise customers. The GA release is expected in Q1 2026. This will be available as a paid add-on to Premium and Enterprise customers (subject to change) and will allow for automatic backups.
