Problem

1st, there is no option to set the maintenance window to only occur for s specific days or during the weekend.

2nd, certain tasks, such as performance improvement or migration jobs, cause extended downtime of close to 2 hours during the maintenance window.  

Suggested Solution

• To have an option for the maintenance window during the weekend only.
• Or at least to have the option to nominate the preferred/weekend maintenance window for those performance improvement or migration jobs that require extended downtime. 

Why This Is Important

As mentioned in Keep Track of Maintenance Windows, downtime is expected during the maintenance window, but extended downtime impacts business operations.

We aim to keep total weekly downtime to less than 15 minutes, and we only use the maintenance windows when downtime can't be avoided.

Workaround

There isn't any known workaround at this stage.
