Issue Summary

If a suspended user is added to a group that grants product access, the user receives an email stating that he was invited to the organization.

Suspended users are unable to be invited to the organization with the below error displayed if you try to invite them:

However, adding the user to the group causes an invite email to be sent even if the account is suspended.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Suspend the user in the organization
2. Add the user to a group that grants product access
3. An email with the invite is delivered to the suspended user, stating that he was invited to join the product.

Expected Results

As the user is suspended, he should not receive those emails, as the account is suspended from having site access.

Actual Results

An email is sent to the user inviting them to the product. Upon clicking the button to join the site, he receives the message that he is inactive and should thus reach out to the admin, leading to security concerns from the admins and confusion from the users who receive the email.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
