Issue Summary

Currently, when a user uploads an attachment to a Confluence page, Confluence creates a preview of the attachment. However, if the attachment contains Japanese characters, they will be converted to a Chinese font after the preview.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Navigate to a Confluence Page.
2. Add the file contains Japanese characters to the page. (File example is below)
   • CharacterTestFile.rtf
3. See the preview.

Expected Results

Japanese characters remain unchanged there.

Actual Results

Japanese characters will be converted to Chinese font.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
