Provide option to configure your users in advanced experience prior to copying data

      Summary

Currently, copying app data only has the option to:

      • Copy all users and groups
      • Copy users and groups related to the selected projects/spaces
      • Copy users, groups, and members of groups referenced in the selected projects/spaces

However, often users need to merge or change users to remap content to a different email domain.

      Suggestion

In Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) and Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (CCMA) we have an Advanced User Experience which allows users to download a CSV file containing the current users, modify the user so they are imported with a new email address, and then use the updated CSV file to import based on the updated email without making any user changes on the source.

Reference: Customize your users in advanced experience

This feature would give users more control over remapping content or updating emails during a Cloud-to-Cloud copy task for Jira, JSM, and Confluence.
