Currently, automated backups that are restored will be limited to only groups related to the backup product will be processed for restore.

This means users may notice that not all groups from the source are present on the destination after a restore.

Suggestion

It would be helpful to give users more visibility and control over how to process users and groups.

Some users may want to select whether all groups should be restored and whether membership should be processed as well or skipped, similar to how this feature occurs during data copy tasks in Atlassian Cloud.
