Current Situation:
At present, we send emails to the designated technical/billing contacts to notify them about activities like product cancellations, site deactivations, and organization deletions. However, it has been observed that the billing admins can sometimes miss these emails.
Proposed Solution:
To prevent any oversight and ensure that these important notifications are received and acknowledged, I suggest that we also incorporate alternative communication methods such as text messages or phone calls. This would act as a backup to our email notifications and could significantly reduce the risk of missed communications.
Why This Matters:
- Critical Data Management: If billing admins miss these emails and do not have a backup of their data, they may suffer from irreversible data loss due to account deletion.
- Enhanced Responsiveness: Text messages or phone calls would likely prompt quicker responses and actions from the billing admins, ensuring they are aware of and can act on these activities promptly.
Implementing these suggestions could greatly enhance our customer experience by ensuring critical updates are not missed, thereby protecting users from potential data loss and service disruptions.
