Current Situation:
Currently, custom field IDs in Jira Cloud are generated independently for each environment, leading to discrepancies between production and sandbox instances. This inconsistency can pose significant challenges for teams that depend on consistent IDs for integrations, automation, and scripts. The absence of matching IDs complicates maintaining consistency between environments, impacting the workflows of development and testing teams.

Improvement Request:
To tackle this issue, we suggest the following improvements:

• Introduce a synchronization mechanism for custom field IDs between production and sandbox environments, ideally utilizing the Copy production data to sandbox button.
• Offer an option to manually adjust custom field IDs during the creation or refresh of the sandbox.
