Summary

The data copy to the sandbox fails when the site backup is running on the production cloud site.

But the UI error states the below:

"We were unable copy data into your Jira sandbox at "sandbox URL" . Go to your sandbox at admin.atlassian.com and try again, or contact support. "

And the backend splunk logs shows the below error:

Failed to start export (status code: 412, reason phrase: Precondition Failed)

Suggestion

Please enhance the error messages below to ensure that the reasons are communicated clearly.

• The Sandbox data copy has failed because the backup of the Production site is currently in progress.
