Issue Summary
This is reproducible on Data Center: no
This is reproducible on Cloud: yes
If you import a Jira backup and choose the option to replace the old URL with a new one, then migrate Confluence using the copied data, you will end up with broken Confluence URLs in Jira content. This is because the IDs of the pages are changed in the migration from one site to the other.
Steps to Reproduce
- Add some Confluence links into a Jira issue.
- Export the Jira backup and then
- Import into a new cloud site checking the option to replace the URL
- Execute a C2C for Confluence
Expected Results
- We expect the import not to touch the Confluence URLs if the page ID does not exist.
- This would allow the support team to execute the legacy link-fixing process.
Actual Results
- All links are updated
- The Confluence URLs are broken
Workaround
- TBD
