Concerns with the status of failed attachment migration

Issue Summary

• While many attachments failed to migrate, we still show the attachment migration to be successful on the customer’s attachment migration status.
   
• The logs don’t show the reason or error behind the failure to download the file from the source. Providing this information will help to troubleshoot and isolate issue further rather than escalating the ticket.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Create a project and add some issues to it.
2. Add attachments in the issue
3. Migrate to cloud site
4. Attachments come as “failed to load” after migration in the destination site
5. Logs and post migration status show as successful

Expected Results

• Status should show as failed or incomplete if the attachments have not been copied properly and the Post-migration report should  also show skipped or cancelled attachment details
• We need better logging and better status updates to handle these issues.

Actual Results

While many attachments failed to migrate, we still show the attachment migration to be successful in our logs and the customer’s attachment migration status.

Workaround

Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
