Description
Issue Summary
When creating Sandbox for products in a Sandbox environment that has more products, the Org Audit Logs are not showing the actual actor, leading customers to believe that it was caused by Atlassian.
This is currently happening for Jira Software and Confluence. Jira Service Management the information is stored correctly.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create a Sandbox and add more than one product (Jira and Confluence)
- Delete the Jira sandbox (Org Admin > Sandbox > Delete sandbox)
- After the deletion is complete, go create a new Sandbox for Jira.
- Go to Security > Audit Logs, and you will see the actor as "Atlassian Internal System"

It shows the actor as "Atlassian Internal System" instead of the actor.
Workaround
Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available. For similar cases, reach out to Atlassian Support.
