Description

Problem Definition

In many cases, admins are required to migrate the Confluence data between different instances (cloud to cloud, C2C) in order to:

Merge the instances -
- Company acquired another company, and each company has their own Atlassian instance
- Different teams are working on different instances, and the company would like to consolidate the instances into one
Split the instance -
- to transfer the the space ownership to a third-party

It's not feasible to perform the manual space migration one-by-one, especially when it comes to large spaces or when it has hundreds of spaces to migrate.

Why this is important

To improve the migration experience in Confluence Cloud
Reduce the time needed for the manual space migration
