Issue Summary
The Jira cloud to cloud migration assistant shows incorrect number of users (and groups) if users and/or groups are deleted from source site before migration.
This count is incorrect even if the customer waits for hours or days before attempting migration after deletion.
Steps to Reproduce
- Create X users and Y groups on source site
- Now, delete some users and/or groups from source site
- Create a migration plan
- "Review Migration" page shows incorrect count of users/groups which includes deleted users from source site
Expected Results
Users and group counts are accurately displayed by C2C JCMA during a migration.
Actual Results
The users and groups count shown on "Review Migration" page includes deleted users and groups. This is confusing to customers and causes less than ideal experience. See screenshot attached after a local test. Actual users on source site is 15 and actual group count on source site is 15.
Workaround
Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.
The actual number of migrated users and groups is correct. It is only the display of user count and group count that is incorrectly shown in the plan.
