Problem Definition
Some users don't see the incident happening to their site on https://status.atlassian.com/.
Additionally, some incidents on https://status.atlassian.com/ don't send a notification to the subscribers.
Suggested Solution
Clarify the criteria to send the notifications and to update the status, such as the number of affected users.
Additionally, for incidents that does not fit into the criteria, meaning if the Status Page isn’t the right place for incidents that are not impacting a massive number of customers, perhaps a smaller more directed notification method could be created, for instance, a banner posted by Atlassian to the top of Confluence instances that are impacted, or a similar solution.
Workaround
None. Consider adding yourself as a watcher to be kept informed as to the state of this feature request moving forward. With that way, if our development team updates the ticket, you'll be notified via email.
