When trying to transition a JIRA issue in Bitbucket server, if the transition fails on the JIRA side no indication of failure is shown, and none of the values filled in the issue fields persist. 

In the gif below, a comment field is required to transition the issue (rule enforced by ScriptRunner), so the issue is never updated and the label doesn't persist.
