    Description

Atlassian status as of March 2020

      Hi all,

I'm excited to share that in Bitbucket Server 7.0 we shipped redesigned and optimized pull request page with several improvements you’ve been asking us. Now you can drag image to a comment and a thumbnail version will be displayed.

You can find more information in the Bitbucket Server 7.0 release notes and Pull Requests documentation.

Please, don't hesitate to leave feedback on the feature in the comments. This will help us to priorities further development.

       Original message

      Step to reproduce:
      1. Drag an image into a Pull Request comment.

      Expected Result:
A thumbnail version of the image is displayed inline, and clicking on it brings up the full sized image. Basically, I'd like it to work the same way as in JIRA ticket comments.

      Actual Result:
The full sized image is displayed inline, and clicking on it also takes you to the same full sized image. Also, there is no way to get the Markdown to display the image at a different resolution, so there is no workaround (implementing images size in markdown as mentioned by BSERV-7426 would at least provide a workaround).
