      Summary

Testing the connection between Bitbucket Server and JIRA/Crowd for user authentication displays a misleading message about the UUID attribute not being set.

      Environment

      • Bitbucket Server connected to JIRA or Crowd for user management.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. After having Bitbucket Server connected to JIRA or Crowd and confirming the connection is working, go to Administration > User Directories and click in Test for the given user directory.
      2. Type the credentials accordingly and execute the test.

      Expected Results

      • Assuming the connection works, the test should pass entirely.

      Actual Results

      • One of the outputs of the test is a warning stating:
Test user rename is configured and tracked : The Unique ID Attribute has been left blank. We recommend you set this to the attribute for the UUID of the user

This is a misleading message, since there's no UUID attribute to be set when using JIRA or Crowd, and can be ignored.
