      Problem Definition

      Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7 ships with systemd as the default system init daemon, however Bitbucket still only provides initd startup scripts.

      Suggested Solution

      Bitbucket Server should provide systemd compatible scripts if it detects that systemd is used instead of initd.

      Workaround

      Manually create systemd script or use one of those available at https://github.com/bparsons/atlassian-systemd
