    Description

      Summary

SysAdmin facing issue with un-managed repository being forked by their developers. The downstream repository is being fork and left un-utilized. The un-used downstream repository is not being deleted by developer/user which cause accumulation of un-used downstream repository and space consumption.

      Expected Results

Allow SysAdmin to limit number of forked repository being created from an individual fork to minimize the under utilize downstream repository by the developer/user.

      Workaround

Based on the issue, I able to suggest the SysAdmin to turn off the forking ability.

      • Go to the repository that required to be stopped forking.
      • Click on Settings to direct to Repository details.
      • Uncheck the Allow forks checkbox and save the configuration.
