Support Git LFS in combination with Smart Mirroring

      Smart Mirroring (available in Data Center) lets remote teams sync git repos to a local server to improve clone and fetch performance.

      Git LFS lets teams store large binary files in a way that avoids the performance penalty that comes with storing them directly in Git.

      Both are new features that solve slightly different scale problems. This suggestion is for the ability for mirrored repositories to work with Git LFS.

      We are interested in hearing use cases from people interested in adopting Smart Mirroring and LFS together. In particular, we expect that people will want everything actively synced to remote mirrors (Git + LFS content), and would like to confirm that this is indeed the case.
