When merging a pull request it is normally useful to delete the branch afterwards, but in some cases, such as when merging special feature or develop branches, this should never be able to happen except when manually deleted by an administrator.
Currently Stash remembers the user's setting for that check box which can cause issues because users end up ignoring that setting and assume the branch will be deleted. This is usually fine but can be quite dangerous, leading to interruption in workflow.
There is an issue open already STASH-2057 that would entirely solve this problem. It would be great if this history could be removed or configurable by an admin until then.
