"Missing configuration url for module section" error because of mixed EOL mode in .gitmodules

If the .gitmodules file in a repository contains mixed end-of-line characters (e.g. some lines \r\n and some lines \n), Stash does not detect the line endings properly and does not recognize separate lines as separate config settings.
