As a User, I would love to be able to configure the base branch that is picked for branching, based on issue type.

    • We collect Bitbucket feedback from various sources, and we evaluate what we've collected when planning our product roadmap. To understand how this piece of feedback will be reviewed, see our Implementation of New Features Policy.

      If I create a hotfix branch in stash, I want my master branch to be selected automatically as a default branch.

      When i do a normal feature or bug, I want my develop branch to be selected automatically as a default branch.

      This lessens the risk of accidently branching from the wrong base branch in a git flow workflow.
