Bold markdown doesn't work

      Bold markdown doesn't work. According to https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/STASH/Markdown+syntax+guide surrounding with ** uses bold characters. Yet this:
      name**s**
      renders as
      name**s**

      We are using Atlassian Stash v3.5.0
