Our developers think it is inconvenient that the links from JIRA to Stash opens in the same window as their JIRA issue. So after they've clicked on a Stash link and went to view a branch in Stash, they want to continue working on the issue, but the issue is no longer open in the browser.

Reproduction
1. Open a JIRA issue
2. Under Development click on 'branch' (or any other link)
Now a pop-up opens to show the details
3. Click on any link, e.g. the Branch
This opens Stash, the JIRA issue is now gone.

Desired
They'd like to continue working on both JIRA and Stash at the same time, therefore it would be easier if the Stash link opened in a new window.

Workaround
I have suggested the use of <ctrl>+leftclick or middleclick to open the link in a new tab/window.

This slightly relates to the issue JRA-9380.
