During work many of us have multiple browser tabs for working in Stash. This is usually due to the fact multiple pull requests being viewed at a time by certain people. Sometimes one of us will go idle past the timeout period and get logged out.

The problem occurs when they go to one of those tabs, trigger the prompt to log back in, (get logged in again). If another one of those tabs is touched (other than the one that just logged back in) then it will log you out in all of the tabs (even the one you just logged back in from!).

The only workaround we've found is to close all tabs except the one that was prompted to log back in as touching any other tab will trigger the issue.
