For now, Stash does not have the capability to migrate or import users from one directory to another. It would be great if Stash has the same capability as JIRA for this.

[BSERV-5195] Add ability to Migrate Users from one directory to another

Interested in this. We are moving away from using Jira as a directory and hitting AD directory so there is one less dependency to deal with in event of DR/recovery situation. I'll have to script this to populate Jira group members to a BB group.

We also need to migrate users from Bitbucket users from Jira Server to Active Directory (Local or office 365)

I don't know which one is not supported and which one the feature will handle (the local AD or the office 365)

BTW: we use Bitbucket linux. don't know which problems arrise with this setup

Maybe migration is not important, If it's possible to link two account so I can see both accounts under one login.

And also to manage all repos in both accounts.

Although this isn't something we're likely to address in the near future I'm opening this up to gauge interest.

In the meantime, the REST API for user admin could be of some use to assist with migrating users.
