- The HipChat notification hook doesn't allow you to specify the URL of an on-premise HipChat server. That improvement is required.- Fixed in Stash 3.2 per
STASH-4636
- As a further improvement, I'd like to suggest that the URL, token and room be specified at the system level and then allow repositories to override those values if needed. The current methodology simply isn't scalable - too much scope for error.

We Ended Support for HipChat Integration
We have discontinued the development of all chat products. HipChat Cloud services were shut down in February 2019, while HipChat Server and HipChat Data Center reached their end of life in May 2019 and September 2019, respectively.
