As a engineering manager, I need the ability to define a release in Stash and have that release definition be the single source of truth across Jira, Stash and Bamboo. Today, Jira has the concept of version, but the version capability in Jira cannot be associated with Stash (git). I want the Jira issues in the release to be reflected in Jira in a release field which comes from Stash/git. The release should be defined by using a git annotated tag and those tags available in all the tools (Jira, Stash, Bamboo).
