Description
Tested in a 64 bit environment with java not installed.
Installing Stash using the installer as a service does not work.
The following error is observed

When installed using command line service install, the following is observed
C:\Atlassian\Stash\3.1.3\bin>service install Neither the JAVA_HOME nor the JRE_HOME environment variable is defined Service will try to guess them from the registry. Installing the service 'AtlassianStash' ... Using CATALINA_HOME: "C:\Atlassian\Stash\3.1.3" Using CATALINA_BASE: "C:\Atlassian\Stash\3.1.3" Using JAVA_HOME: "" Using JRE_HOME: "" Warning: Neither 'server' nor 'client' jvm.dll was found at JRE_HOME. Using JVM: "auto" The service 'AtlassianStash' has been installed.
Workaround
- Ensure the JAVA_HOME variable is set to the root of your Java platform's installation directory.
