"It's weird--Stash's Overview tab on a PR unpredictably (to this n00b, anyway) shows an out-of-date comment/diff. Helpfully, they're labeled as "Outdated" in the UI (when would I want to look at an outdated comment in the Overview tab, by default?).
Looking at the Diffs tab is always right.
Take a look at this PR: [REDACTED]
The first and last comments/code are up-to-date, but all of the comments/code in-between are marked as "Outdated"--the code has in fact been changed, but you can't see it unless you go to the Diffs tab."
My response:
"Overview is more of an "activity feed".
"when would I want to look at an outdated comment in the Overview tab, by default?" I really like this behavior ... I can see whether a comment has actually been resolved or not (as opposed to being accidentally hidden because I incidentally changed the line"
Responding to me:
"that seems like it would make sense if the top and bottom comment blocks's associated code weren't updated. Unfortunately, it's inconsistent which code blocks update and which don't."
Is this a bug, or is there an underlying logic we don't understand?
