Thanks for new api for creation branches in the repository.
However there is same api for tags management required too. Simply as the part of the bamboo deployment features we create a tag in git repository to the respective commit used to generate artifacts deployed. However when there is a public deployment we need to create a tag in the git repository to keep order in releases. Of course we will create branch but tags is another additional level of release management.
