Currently on a diff, you can only comment on the lines that have changed and the ones originally shown around the changed lines. Sometimes I want to comment on other lines, either because I've looked at the full source, or because I've told it to show more lines above or below the diff. I've had to resort to copying the lines and then pasting them into a comment in order to give context to my comment.
