I like upward merging from stable branch to master. Unfortunately I can't enable upward merging because I'm not an admin.

The JIRA project has a great description that tells you who is an admin on the project, but I can't see that on the Project page.

That description on the project seems to be a workaround for the fact that it's difficult to be able to easily contact the admins of a repository in order to request a configuration change as an end user. Could the product better enable end users to contact their administrators, or surface features in a way that non-admin users can know their presence then bug their admins to enable them?
