Creating a branch in Stash with a prefix that matches an existing branch will fail

For example, if the branch release already exists, then attempting to create branch release/1.5 will fail with an error message similar to the following:

This behaviour is a limitation with how git uses the filesystem to store refs. A more descriptive error message will be added in a future version of Stash.
